We exist to serve, not for financial gain. Like most nonprofits, fundraising is a necessary part of our existence. We heed the call from Christ to be good stewards of our blessings (Matthew 25:14-30, Luke 19:11-27, Luke 12:41-48), and to use our gifts for God’s glory (Matthew 5:14-16). We keep our focus – whether money, time, or energy – on our residents.
We are here for those in need, and we cannot take more seriously the responsibility of using this money to serve the purpose of caring for the afflicted and marginalized, while growing the Kingdom. We humbly ask that you assist our work, and we promise to make your donation as effective as possible for a cause you can believe in.

Our staff are paid fair wages, and benefits are provided for their stability. We are consistently looking for ways to lower cost-of-stay, and to be able to provide our services at reduced or no cost to those who lack the means to pay for care. We allocate financial resources to be fruitful today, and to keep HOSS operating tomorrow. We understand your money is hard-earned, and necessary for your life goals as well. We truly rejoice in any donation, large or small.
