What Makes House On Straight Street Different?
There are numerous substance abuse rehabilitation entities throughout the United States. What makes HOSS different?
- We edify. We build up. We protect. We encourage. We don’t give up. We understand. We set the bar high for the future.
- Many “rehabs” are facility-oriented, process driven, medical, and psychological. They have individuals exit their program with a relapse prevention plan that yields little value, if any, in application, and a “hang in there and stay sober” attitude. That is not a life we want for others. We convict people in the Lord – we do better so our people do better.
- We do not teach people how to avoid the negative, we assist the Spirit to convict our residents towards the positive to such a degree that sobriety becomes natural to their purpose.
- Our education challenges our residents. The recovery and theological knowledge gained at HOSS equips residents to equip others. We do not pander or patronize; we build arsenals for spiritual warfare.
